When a script doesn't work

The usual reasons a script does nothing, errors or crashes, and how to fix each.

Nine times out of ten, it's one of these:

It says executed, but nothing happens

Make sure you're in the right game and fully loaded in, then try again. Still nothing? Either the script got patched or the executor is outdated after a Roblox update. Check its status in the executor list.

An error like "attempt to call a nil value"

Either the script's download link is dead, or your executor is missing a function the script needs. Try an executor with a higher sUNC score, or another script for the same game.

Roblox crashes or closes when I attach

Usually the executor isn't updated for the newest Roblox version yet. Wait for its update instead of retrying over and over. Some executors also need a PC restart after installing, or Windows 11.

Kicked with error 268

"Unexpected client behavior" means the game or Roblox caught the executor. Stop using it in that game for now, and never on your main account.

My key doesn't work

Get a fresh one, copy it without spaces around it, and make sure it belongs to this script. Keys expire, often after a day.

It worked yesterday

The game probably updated and the script got patched, or it was Wednesday and Roblox updated. Check the comments, look for a newer version, or try another script for the same game.

Press F9 in game to open the developer console. Red lines are errors. Add a screenshot when you ask for help in the script's comments.
