Okay so this one is a big drop. Three things landed today and all of them are about you, the people who actually make Rscripts work.
Quick version if you are scrolling: your leaderboard spot is now a badge on your profile, the top 3 in any category get a 3D frame around their avatar, and long time creators can join a small team that helps review reports and gets bonus bumps for it.
Now the long version.
Your rank is on your profile now
We rank creators on five boards: views, executions, followers, likes and script count. If you are in the top 100 of any of them, your profile gets a little pill under your name that says something like #7 Executions.
It always shows your best placement. Hover it and you see every board you are on, how far up you are, and when the ranks were last updated. Ranks refresh every hour, fully automatic, nothing to claim.
The same badge shows up in a mini version next to your name on your script pages and on every comment you write. So if you are top 100, people see it everywhere you show up. Not just on your profile.
Top 10 gets a special dark version with a glowing outline. Top 3 gets the metal treatment: place one is in Rscripts blue, two is silver, three is bronze.
Top 3 gets a frame
This is the part I am most hyped about. If you hold a top 3 spot in any category, your avatar gets an actual frame. Not a CSS border. A rendered 3D ring that sits around your picture, with a small crest under it that says your place.
Place one gets the blue ring with the crown, place two the brushed silver ring with the laurel, place three the bronze ring with the star. Your name gets a soft glow in the same color. The frame follows your rank, so if someone passes you it moves to them. That is kind of the point.
Creator badges got easier to reach
Small but important. Views on the site used to be pretty inflated, and we fixed that a while ago. Which meant the old Popular Creator and Mythic Creator thresholds were basically unreachable for anyone who started after the fix.
So we lowered them. Popular Creator is now 250,000 total views on your public scripts. Mythic Creator is 1,000,000. Both update on the same hourly sync as the leaderboard ranks.
The Community Helper program
Reports on scripts have always been handled by us. That works, but it is slow at peak times, and honestly the people who know best whether a script is sketchy are the creators who have been here for years.
So we are inviting a small group of long time verified creators to help. If you got a popup about it today, that is why. There were 101 invites in the first round.
How it works:
- You see the open reports in your dashboard under Reports, one case at a time.
- You look at the script and the report and vote: valid or invalid.
- Three matching votes settle a case. One person alone can never take a script down.
- Admins still see everything and can step in on any report.
- One case at a time, straight from your dashboard.
- Three matching votes settle a report. Never one person alone.
- Bonus bumps when your verdict matches the outcome.
- Leave whenever you want from Settings.
You get an Officer badge on your profile, and you can leave any time from your settings. No pressure, no quota, no minimum votes.
Bonus bumps for being right
Helpers earn bonus script bumps. Not for voting a lot, for voting right.
- You earn one credit per day on days where a case you voted on closed with the same verdict you gave.
- Credits expire after 30 days and you can hold at most three.
- To spend them you need at least five settled votes and a 70 percent hit rate over your last 20. Random clicking lands around 50 percent and locks you out, so do not do that.
- A bonus bump works on your own public scripts, skips your daily bump limit, and does not use up a regular bump. The 24 hour cooldown per script still applies.
Not invited yet but you think you qualify? The bar is: verified, account older than a year, active in the last 30 days, at least one public script and no warnings in the last six months. If that is you, you can also just join from Settings.
That is it
Go check your profile. If you are top 100 somewhere the badge is already there. And if you are in the top 3, enjoy the frame, it looks sick.
